I was at the selfs meeting on Thursday 12th April. Stuart Inman gave a great talk but I had to leave early. I’d like to know who wrote the poem about the Gorgon and who was the French female Surrealist artist ‘ Aimee’ something? Thanks. Cleo Lear

Thanks for the kind comment.
The “poem about the Gorgon” was actually a prose work by Andre Breton “Arcana 17” and the section in question refers to Melusine. It is a wonderful book and I’d recommend it without reservation.
The French female artist must be Mimi Parent. You should be able to find a few of her works online I think. I will be posting up a list of names of artists and writers, probably on the SELFS list, as soon as I can.
