See them singing/see them hidden – D THOMAS 07

 Beeswax smile

 Fading blooms

 In our falling

Crawl across the exit

Spoken

In long faces

Tall with the light

In the half light

Braided in moonlight

Our creatures’ masks

Unfitting

See them singing

See them hidden

Move like warm milk

Their traces

Scratched in white

Molten

Stinging

Headstone walk

Cornflower gill

In their innocence

Twist around the surface

Swimming

In a careful party

Old with anguish

In a forgotten gutter

Scattered with time

Pockets full of time

Playtime

Our borrowed costumes

Killing

See them singing

See them hidden
